About Saint Vitus Cathedral

The Cathedral displays a unique architectural combination of Gothic and Neo-Gothic style with Baroque and Renaissance influences. It is the most prominent and important church in Prague. Various saints rest in peace inside the tombs which further houses three Bohemian kings. It also features St. Wenceslas Chapel which is embellished with semi-precious stones and an altar adorned with an ample number of precious stones. The Cathedral's 97m main tower adds spectacular beauty to the city. The church is further adorned with stained glass windows to captivate the eyes of visitors. The church is where you'll find the Czech Crown jewels and also the resting place for Czech kings. It is considered a holy place by the locals.
