Bargaining is absolutely fine. It is a fun place to explore and is ideal for photography.Bargaining is ok if you think the goods are overpriced, you can always ask them for a better rate in a nice way. There are numerous things to buy here so make up your mind before you start shopping. Taking a shopping bag with you will be a good idea, some shops may not give you bags. Carry spices and other herbs if buying, in a separate pouch. The aroma can easily spread to other things in your bag. This stunning marketplace is a must visit if you are in Cartagena.

It is almost 7 Kms from city center. So taking a taxi is a good option. It will cost you 50000 COP.

  • However, do not be aggressive when you haggle.
  • Las Bovedas is a very colourful place and a good spot for photos.
