What do you call a circus with no animals? Phare the Cambodian Circus in Siem Reap. It is more like the Cirque du Soleil with artistic performances than a traditional display of animals and tricks.
This unique form of entertainment opened in 2007. The original training campus of Battambang has seen many generations of performers. Each with their own trials and tribulations. Their personal tragedies make their performances more like stories of endurance and survival than a theatre production.
Be inspired by their triumphant acrobatics and skill. The cost of your ticket will go back into Phare Ponleu Selpak for future generations.
