Sprawling across 400 kilometers, The Angkor Archaeological Park contains the remains of capitals of Khmer empire. It offers a large range of temples to visit which are remains of the ancient history of Cambodia. The sunrise and sunsets are amazing from here. The temples which are present here are magnificent and breath-taking. There are a lot of carvings and beautiful art designs engraved throughout the walls of these temples. The park presents the largest-ever collections of the temples anywhere in the world. It is a place where one can find solace and peace in the lap of nature and meditate to connect to one's inner soul. A must visit the site for all those who love to explore history.
It is 3 km from the city center. One can hire taxis, motorbikes, bicycles, tuk-tuks or tour buses. The prices can be negotiated depending upon the distance and the time. Taxis can be hired for a full day at the cost of $30 for 2 people. Tuk-tuks can be hired for a full day at the cost of $13 to $16 and can accommodate 4 people. Motorbikes cost for a full day range $3 to $10 and are easily available in the city at all places.
