One of La Paz’s most impressive viewpoints, Mirador Killi Killi is located just above the city center. It can be visited on foot but it is not recommended because of the high altitude and the hill’s steep ascent. It is better to take public transport to reach the viewpoint. Its name comes from a bird of prey that inhabited the area and offers an excellent view with a range of almost 360 degrees. The view from the top is spectacular. The best parts are the snow-covered peaks and the beautiful red hills just beyond the city. Uphill to the Avenida La Bandera, there is a flight of stairs leading to stunning views of La Paz. Get a beautiful view of Illimani Mountain. This place is good for taking pictures or just to sit and relax. On the way, one can see the city and the life of Bolivians with their interesting and different shops. It also has a playground and manicured gardens. The Archway Monument is situated at this place.
