Located in the heart of Hanoi, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long is an outstanding UNESCO World Heritage Site. The monuments in Nguyen Dynasty's Citadel include the Flag Tower, the South Gate, the Kinh Thien Palace Foundation, the Princess's Pagoda and the North Gate. The Citadel offers a vast array of archaeological artefacts and architectural relics. The archaeologists and historians will love the bronze coins and artefacts from all over Asia. This is a UNESCO site and the history stretches back to centuries. There are many ceramic artefacts that have been unearthed through the years and this is a must see place for all the history buffs and museum lovers.
