One of the largest and oldest museums of the United States, the Art Institute of Chicago's exhibits include Mesoamerican sculpture, textiles, and metal works which are simply excellent. The art is presented by modern-day artists that convey humanitarian thoughts and wisdom to everyone. It also includes the photography of the most celebrated photographers in the world. There are 11,500 drawings and 3,500 paintings.
There is also a collection of White, who was a notable artist, and a collection from Harold Allen, whose contribution to Egyptian painting is noteworthy. There are also the abstract works by Helen Frankenthaler in vivid, broad, canvas prints. They also showcase jewelry from Bukhara. The remarkable rise in the talent of jewelry design has resulted in separate exhibits for them.
