An alluring temple majestically located over the banks of river Chao Phraya in Bkakgonhwith a 70 m high spire which is decorated with tiny pieces of colored glass and Chinese porcelain. This is the temple of Dawn or the Wat Arun, named after the Hindu God Aruna or beams of the rising sun.
