The beautiful city of San Sebastian is well known for its long stretch of sandy beaches, historic architecture and endearing public spaces. The majestic Aiete Park is the city’s main park and stretches from the Town Hall along the La Concha Bay. Situated on the hills surrounding the city, the park is mainly known for its lovely landscapes, gardens and the beautiful old mansion in it. This mansion used to be the summer residence of many royalties and now it is opened to the public. Aiete Park also has lovely ponds, trees, and parks and is an ideal place for a family outing.
Parque Aiete is 2.4 km from the city center and can be reached by public transport. Take the bus route 46 and get down at Morlans 51; the park is a two-minute walk from there. If you are taking the bus route 32, get off at Katalina Eleizegi and then walk ahead for a few minutes to reach the park. Bus numbers 19, 23, 33 and 35 also go to Parque Aiete.
