Monte Igueldo is the ideal vantage point for amazing views of San Sebastian's scenery. From atop the mountain, you can see the beautiful bay, Santa Clara Island, La Concha Beach, Monte Urgull, and the surrounding rolling hills of the Basque countryside. The mountain stands 184 meters above the sea and offers breathtaking panoramas. You can ascend Monte Igueldo on foot or by car; alternatively, you can take the funicular ride up the hill. Once you are at the summit, head to the lookout area. This is an ideal spot for photography. There is also a small Monte Igueldo Amusement Park that has been entertaining families since many years with more than 20 attractions, including bumper cars, a carousel, a gentle roller-coaster, a boat pond, and a haunted house.
It is located very close to the city center. You can reach on foot via Hondarribia Kalea and Arrasate Kalea. It is a two-minute walk.
