Surrounded by exquisite landscapes overlooking the sea, the Miramar Palace was the vacation home for the Spanish royalty. The building is beautifully designed with an octagonal tower and half-timbered details. It is a relatively simple, but an elegant three-storied residence. Beautifully manicured gardens surrounding the palace offer gorgeous ocean views and a walkway leads down to a seafront promenade. The garden is extensive and is a popular spot for a picnic, overlooking the deep blue waters and the sandy Ondarreta Beach.
It is a 10-minute drive from the city center. You can take a taxi or use public transport. The bus routes are 16, 18, 33, 40, 45, T3, T5 and T5D.
