Jeongdong Theater is the nerve center of Korean Traditional Performing Arts. It was established in 1995 to rectitude the legacy of Wongaksa, the first modern theater in Korea. The theater is well-known for doing several critically-acclaimed productions like “Masters Exhibition,” “Traditional Art Performance,” and “Art Frontier,” besides the programs like “Art Stage at Noon.” After its great success, Jeongdong Theater has emerged as one of Korea's representative traditional arts performance theaters. It was designated as Seoul Future Heritage in 2015. The theater is a government-affiliated organization for the production of Korean performing arts.
