About Sky Tower

Auckland's Sky Tower is the tallest structure made by man in the entire Southern Hemisphere. The Sky Tower stands tall at 328 meters and has served as an iconic symbol in Auckland's skyline for the last two decades. It allows one to see 80 kilometres in every direction from the top. The Sky Tower provides a panoramic view of Waiheke Island, Waitemata Harbour, and all of Auckland from its Sky Deck. The Sky Tower is a hub for sightseeing, entertainment activities, shopping, and limitless eating options.

How to reach

You can reach the Sky Tower from the city center by bus or train. It is 8.50 km from the city center.

  • There are two floors to explore, take a few hours to properly savor the experience of the Sky City Tower.
  • The tickets need not be booked in advance.
  • School holiday activities are held three times a year, the ideal option for families to have fun as a group.
