About Cornwall Park

With over 8,000 trees and 350 species of trees within its grounds, Cornwall Park gives us a vivid glimpse into the beautiful lands of ancient New Zealand. Situated in Epsom, it covers the heart of the city of Auckland. Lined with numerous heritage sites, rows of beautiful trees, natural beauty, wide open spaces, the park presents a perfect amalgamation of historic interests, fun activities, a flavorful taste of nature and natural relaxation. It is the center of the volcanic mount One Tree Hill. A visit to Auckland is considered incomplete without spending a few hours in this impeccably manicured garden. How to reach

Bus 70 and Bus 30 can be used to reach Cornwall from Auckland shopping center in 35 minutes whereas normal buses take over an hour. Train STH also takes the same time. Ferry can also take one to Cornwall Park in around 35 minutes. Ride by taxi takes just 6 minutes to reach Cornwall. It is 7.3 kms from the city centre.

Tips

  • Any kind of misbehaviour, foul language, indecent acts or harm to any property is totally punishable by law.
  • Firearms, crackers or any other arms, if found with a traveller, will be confiscated.
  • The entry of pet animals is only allowed after prior permission from the board.
  • Inside the park, the use of musical instruments, amplifiers, radio, and loudspeakers are only permissible after proper confirmation from the board.
  • Free bike and car parking.
  • The park has three food outlets inside its limits.
  • Gas and wood are available for barbeque lovers. However, one will need to bring their own portable barbeque stove.
