The Rabbi Shlomo Ibn Danan Synagogue was built in the 17th Century. Despite it being a place of worship for Jews, the building is constructed in a confluence of Islamic and Moroccan styles. The synagogue is very well preserved and is a testament to the long tradition of Judaism in Fes. It is supporting the fact that the Muslims and Jews have lived in harmony and unity here. There's an old Torah, an old prayer book and many light fixtures. This is a Jewish cemetery with an antique market next to it.
