A place to get an excellent panoramic view of Tokyo, Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building is visited by millions of visitors each year. The building comprises of three towers in total. The first one is 243 meters, with 48 stories above and two stories below the ground. The second building is 163 meters high, with 34 stories above and three stories below the ground. The third and the last building is the assembly hall, which is eight stories highs and forms a circular arcade. The total area that these three towers cover is around 380,000 square meters.
Famous landmarks like Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Dome, and Mount Fiji can be seen from the observatory, provided that the weather conditions are ideal. The place is also a popular site to be visited at night because the north observatory stays open till late at night. The Centre organizes fairs periodically that showcases the local products and the products are put on sale for the visitors. With the observation decks being open on alternate days, it gives a vast range of perspectives to the visitors to see Tokyo in a way that couldn’t have been seen from anywhere else.

By train: From Narita airport, the train takes 1 hour 21 minutes to reach Shinjuku station, and from here, you can walk for 1.7 kilometers to reach the building. The total cost will range from 3100 to 3500 Japanese Yen.
By Bus: The bus from the airport goes up to Keo plaza hotel and takes 2 hours and 21 minutes to reach with a fare of around 2800 to 3500 Japanese Yen. From the hotel, it is a walk of a mere 500 meters to reach the building.
By taxi: You can take a taxi from the airport that will cost you 28000-35000 yen to reach the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.
By shuttle: You can also take a shuttle from the airport, and the fare ranges from 22000 to 25000 Yen.
