About Subway Museum

The Subway Museum in Japan is an interactive museum depicting the history of subway service in the area, how it evolved through the years, and how it became an inseparable part of the urban life. Here you can look into history, touch the models that created the history and feel how the history of subway services affected the lifestyle positively. Subway Museum comprises of seven separate exhibits with over six hundred items on display. You will also find model subway layouts, video and audio guides, hands-on train simulator, and various posters around the complex. History of the subway, the building of the subway, safety measures, passenger services, how subways work, and subways from around the world are the sections of the museum.
