This bridge is officially known as Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link, this eight-lane cable-stayed bridge in Mumbai is the first project initiated by Maharashtra Government that commences West Island Freeway System. Bandra Worli Sea Link is one of the bridges that is a cable-stayed and holds it in place. Spanning across the arc of Mumbai's coastline, this sea link is a civil engineering wonder that reflects the modern infrastructure of the city of Mumbai. The view from the bridge overlooking the sea and Mahim Bay is beyond words. The beauty of this attraction is enhanced especially during the night when you drive by this beautiful architecture that links from the suburbs to the city. This bridge has helped reduce travel time between Bandra and Worli during peak hours. The sunrise and sunset views are especially beautiful from this bridge. However, stopping on the sea link for photography is banned as per the Government of Maharashtra regulations. So please be careful and drive safe while you are on this bridge
Bandra is the nearest railway station to reach to Bandra-Worli Sea Link. Bandra serves as the nearest bus depot which is just about 2km and from Bandra Railways Station it's about 5km to the sea link. Other than that other options are taxi and auto-rickshaws which are also easily available.
