One can travel by local buses and taxis which are easily available from all the major parts of the city.
The local train can be taken from Sealdah station till the Bindhan Nagar station.
Basic bus fare is Rs. 7 for the first 4 km and Rs. 15 for 9 km and after that the fare increases by Re.1 for every 4 km. The buses are available every 10 minutes.
Basic taxi fare is Rs. 30 up to the first 2 km and after that the fare increases by Rs. 3 for every additional 2 km. Taxis are available at a regular frequency with 0 to 5 minutes wait time.
