Szechenyi chain bridge is a classic landmark in Budapest as the first permanent bridge across the Danube linking Buda and Pest together. It took almost fifty years of passion and determination to achieve this dream bridge of Szechenyi. It was completed in 1849 only to be destroyed in WWII but got reconstructed in 1949.
