The baroque Palais Lascaris was home to one of the first noble families of Nice. City bought the property in 1942 and was later opened to the public as a museum in 1970. Its 18th-century ornamentations, as well as the 1738 pharmacy. A collection of old musical instruments and lavishly decorated rooms, historical artifacts, architecture, and 17th-century paintings on the ceilings are its biggest attractions.
The lush interior decorations, frescoed walls, tapestries, and pieces of furniture are a treat for art lovers. The narrow street in the heart of the old town makes it easy to locate.
