Beautiful and unique, Gallen-Kallela Museum has been designed and built by the artist Akseli Gallen-Kallela (1865 – 1931). The museum displays the life of Gallen-Kallela along with his contemporary works. It also houses some distinguished works of present-day contemporary artists. The architecture of the Gallen-Kallela Museum is exquisite to date. One can also buy a souvenir or two from the museum and shop on campus. The museum is also a brilliant place to participate in some activities and events organized in the premises. It is an amazing place to collect all the information about Akseli Gallen-Kallela. The museum also houses an amazing shop where visitors and tourists can buy souvenirs and also a cafe where they can sit back, relax and have a delicious cup of steaming hot coffee.
