This is an ideal attraction for families with kids and for those interested in space and astronomy. The planetarium has a spaceship shaped museum called the Universe Museum that has 60 interactive displays. The other attractions include the Praca dos Telescopios (telescopes' square) that allows visitors to view the sky and two states of the art domes that project the stars and planets over 40-minute sessions. Visitors can also view the night sky on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays on clear nights. This place has several different things with explanations of all the planets, there are also simulations of various things summarizing and an ideal place for the family especially for children. The summit sessions are very enlightening and enchanting. Great place to take kids!
