It is the largest art museum in Belarus comprising more than 30,000 works of art including collections of national art and monuments of various countries of the world. Today the museum is not only an art gallery but also a modern scientific and educational center for art enthusiasts. The unique collection of the Belarusian art includes ancient icon painting, sculpture, woodcarving, textile, paintings from the 16th to the 20th Century, and works of decorative and applied arts. The National Art Museum has many branch museums - the Vankoviches’ House in Minsk, the Museum of Vitold Byalynitsky-Birulya in Mogilev and the Museum of Belarusian Folk Art in Raubichi. You can take a train departing from Vilnius (LT) and arriving at t Minsk-Passajirskii. Take a cab to the Belarusian National Arts Museum.
