National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Belarus is located in the Gorky Park in Trinity Banlieu. The theatre began performances since 1933. The building that houses the theatre is an important pre-war monument and has a lot of national importance. There are more than 240 performances that are staged every year. In 1996 the theater was separated into two independent theatres: The National Academic Grand Ballet Theatre and The National Academic Opera Theatre.
