About The Great Patriotic War Museum

The Great Patriotic War Museum is a memorial and tribute to the German-Soviet war that began after the end of the Nazi occupation. This was the first museum to open during the war and the displays span across 24 exhibition halls in the building. The Republican Monument to the Internationalist Soldiers is part of the museum as well. The museum is partly traditional and party modern too. Some areas of display modern elements such as video projection, hologram installation, etc. Nothing is in English and hence it may take time to understand.

  • Long of walking involved inside the campus, make sure you wear comfortable shoes.
  • Foreign visitors may take time to understand as English is not available here.
