About National Library of Belarus

The 23-storey National Library of Belarus is the pride of Minsk. It is a gigantic diamond shaped structure that houses the museum of rare books, art, and a beautiful Skydeck. The construction of the building was completed in 2006. It offers a spectacular view of the city from the top floors. The building also has a sculpture of Francysk Skaryna, an outstanding personality in the Belarusian history, next to it.

  • The Book Museum that houses more than 300 manuscripts and the earliest printed books.
  • 10 originals of the Bibles published in the16th Century.
  • The beautiful art galleries located in the building.
  • The open-air Skydeck; the view from here is breathtaking.

  • Make sure you observe the architectural design inside the building.
  • Use binoculars to watch the city from the top. (binoculars are provided free of cost)
  • You need to get registered to enter the building.
  • Exhibitions take place monthly.
