Harry Bayley Observatory
The observatory is situated in Clapham, St. Michael, which was officially opened in 1963 in the memory of Dr. Harry Bayley. It is the only observatory in the Eastern Caribbean
A non-profit organization to educate people who have a keen interest in the subject of astronomy. It is open every Friday evening from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. At first, visitors get to know about the presentation of the observatory which is conducted downstairs. In the end, visitors get the chance to view the night sky through the telescope which is upstairs. With the help of the telescope, one can check the incredible view of constellations, the Milky Way and close-ups of the Moon.
It is nearly 9.5 km from town, can be reached by taxi.
