Barbados Parliament Building
It was established back between 1870 and 1874 and its the 3rd oldest Parliament in the Commonwealth. This famous city landmark situated on Broad Street, across the road from Heroes' Square and the Constitution River. Buildings are closed to the public whenever Parliament is in session. The Parliament Building is home for the Parliament composed by the Senate and the House of Assembly. In the building, there is the parliament museum open to the public. The building looks very beautiful and well maintained, surrounded by trees and flowers. Inside the Museum of Parliament and National Heroes Gallery, one can learn the fascinating history of Barbados. Clock tower dominates the area which was destroyed in 1884 but replaced in 1886. The architecture of the building like a Victorian design shows the influence of the British colonizers. There are also numerous shops and restaurants which have a view of the sea.
