Batts Rock is located on the west coast of Barbados close to Bridgetown in Saint Michael parish.
The sea here is calm and excellent for swimming with the crystal-clear waters.
There are some local green monkeys which can be seen hanging out on the woods behind the beach.
Some catamaran cruises also include a stop at Batts Rock beach for a swim. It is a lovely public beach with some coral statues built on the beach.
Lots of facilities are there on the beach like bathrooms, picnic area, lifeguard, kids playground, cold drinks machine & free parking. A fab spot to look out for is the turtles which feed around the rocks to the right of the bay. There's a restaurant/bar on the beach. A popular West Coast beach for snorkelers and plenty of shades make it a perfect place for sunbathing.
