It is the 'Gate of Yemen' guarding the old city. The gate was first built thousands of years ago and was reconstructed in 17th century by Turks. This fortified wall was made waterproof with lime plaster and quadad. Highlight of this fortified wall is its architecture and design. Around the wall, local market runs full fledged. Yemeni cutural products could easily be found here.
