About Sanaa

Rich in its cultural heritage, Sana'a is largest city in Yemen. The region is under the administrative control of Amanat Al-Asemah and not the ruling government. Possessing breathtaking views, it holds a position in UNESCO's World Heritage sites. The Old City displays the architectural of the past, in contrast to the new modern parts o the city. Due to its presence on an elevated area, it barely faces any extreme weather conditions.

The most popular sport played here is football. The jambiya, symbolizing the Yemeni culture, is worn by most of the men here.

Sana'a, full of tradition, culture, and heritage is on the verge of increasing civil unrest and water supply shortage. Don't let that stop you from visiting.
