A testament of loyalty, sincerity, and justice built in the name of General Quan Cong, this small temple is one of the best places to experience the practices and beliefs of the locals of Hoi An. With a beautiful altar for prayers, this wooden structure decorated in the auspicious colors of red and gold, featuring a live size version of the horse of General Cong is a place many want to visit. Be wary of the several rituals performed inside and remember to remove footwear before entering the premises. When on holidays the best places to find peace and relaxation are these little places of worship that help us reflect on simpler beliefs and truths.
