Tan Ky House compact, brilliant and mesmerizing, built almost two centuries ago is a symbol of the beauty and elegance of Vietnamese architecture. A house used to host foreign dignitaries is located on the banks of the Hoi An river. The house features several quarters packed to the brim with ancient furniture and artworks inspired by China and Japan. Once inside you are swept away to a different time, the mother of pearl hangings inscribed with poetry, carvings on the walls and in the balcony, the heavy use of wood in the structure of the house remind visitors of the glory days of Vietnam. Flanked around by a beautiful courtyard the Tan Ky house is a great place to relax and enjoy a house that has been preserved perfectly resembling a piece of art.
