Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to visit the John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. It is one of only ten National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) field centers located in the United States. Since 1968 it has been the primary launch center for NASA’s human spaceflight and is located right beside the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
There is something awe-inspiring of witnessing firsthand a rocket launch into space. Space experts are there to guide you. Experiencing the sight, sound, and feel of rocket engines lifting off can be crossed off your bucket list here. In addition to space launches, the KSC has many exhibitions. The complex is separated into Mission Zones in chronological order of space exploration. Learn about space pioneers in Heroes and Legends, stand under Saturn in the Apollo Race to the Moon, or take a behind-the-scenes bus tour to launch your imagination to the stars.
