The shrine is dedicated to lady queen of Matrys and established in honor of Martyrs of Uganda. Then there is something called Basicilla, which is the main part of this place. It is actually a circular church of 32 m diameter, one of its kind in Africa. This is inspired by the traditional African hut. It is made up of 22 stell pillars and has a seating capacity of 1000 pillars. It took 9 years for the construction of this shrine, which was later announced as a mini basilica by the Pope. You can see three pavilions in this place. One with a seating capacity of 2600 for VIPs. Pavilion B with a seating capacity of 2800 is for priests and the last one is for choir members and International delegates with a seating capacity of 2650. To host the mass on Sundays, a martyr lake has been made, which is a manmade pond. Its deepest point is almost 10 feet. Annual day celebrations of the shrine are also held here. There is a pray path under construction, called The matrys way and Grottos. Pilgrims will be able to move around in Uganda martyr footsteps through this path. There is also an amphitheater in this place.
