Sousse’s weekly market is an amazing treat for shoppers. It is held on Sunday morning and early afternoon in the Souq El Ahad Compound just south of the bus station. You can shop for everything from fresh produce to handicrafts to livestock. But, it is too packed and mopeds driving up and down to squeeze you further. There are plenty of food stalls to sample the local cuisine. It's easy to visit it even if you don't want to drive or hire a taxi. You can take any bus to this place and then walk to the market.
By Bus: Souq El Ahad compound is just near south of the bus station. Can board any bus to this bus stand and then walk to the market. Buses run every 30 minutes to the station from all part of the city.
By Train: Take a train from Station Agil GPL: P1, Sousse.Its 2 km via Hamid el Ghazali and Rue des Catacombesand 2.3 km via Rue du Commandant Bejaoui and Rue Abdelhamid Lasska.
