The astounding Domsila viewpoint is located within Than Sadet National park. Once you reach the Nam Tok Phaeng waterfall, a steep climb of about 250 meters will take you around 15 minutes to the rocky perch offering you a scenic view of the island. The rise is rough and steep, inundated with roots and stones, but well worth the look that welcomes you once you reach there. You will be provided with romp ropes to help you with the climb.
If you want to follow the jungle trail, then take the route towards the left of the viewpoint. The Domsila nature trial runs in a loop for 1.4 kilometres and takes 2-3 hours to complete it. There are a few waterfalls on the way while you or on the trail. The jungle trail from Domsila would have ropes provided at the most difficult parts.
Domsila’s viewpoint is everything you need for a relaxing and tranquil time. There is not much traffic around this area which makes it a perfect spot for bird watching and get a few moments of peace away from busy life. Hiking and walking along the nature trail is an added attraction here for some eventful time. The trail can be rated as moderate and can be achieved by people of any skill level.
You could spot some wild boars, monkeys, snakes, and deers around the area. If you want, you could also continue your walk up to Kha Ro, which is the highest mountain on the island at 625 meters.
