Koh Phangan is the fifth biggest island of Thailand. This place is unspoilt in terms of natural beauty. This place doesn’t have any airport and totally relies upon the ferries. Its lush green tropical forests, hilly roads, long white sand beaches, dive sites and waterfalls make this place remarkable.
The Deang waterfall is a part of the larger picture. The Thong Nang waterfall, and the Saampon being the other two members form together with the Sadet Waterfall. It is also the most famous waterfall in Koh Phangan. Series of beautiful streams and pools make it unique among the other waterfalls. This waterfall also holds some very important and interesting history about the past and present. The inscription on a rock by the king Rama still exits, and the water of these waterfalls is considered to be sacred and used for royal ceremonies. All three waterfalls are near to each other and are very easy to reach. A 3-kilometre hike connects all the three waterfalls. The boulders are more like huge stepping stones that can be approached from various places. The best time to visit these waterfalls is during monsoons and after the monsoons although they have water all year.
Officially it is known as Than Sadet National Park. There are many fun activities, such as Zip-lines and ATV adventures.
Take a break from the crowds and parties to enjoy the peaceful creation of nature. Dip yourself in the refreshing natural pools and adore the natural beauty. When you walk down the path, views are so gorgeous that you would want to come back again.
