Have you ever wondered what a seven-tier waterfall looks like? Look no further than the Erawan Falls in Erawan National Park, northwest of Bangkok. The rushing water cascades over smooth rocks into the pool below. Along with the waterfall, spelunkers will love the many caves, including Phartat Cave with its stalagmites and stalactites. Don’t forget to visit Ta Duang Cave which has rock paintings on its walls and the Limestone Wang Bah Dan Cave with two levels.
Be sure to keep your eyes open for the local wildlife, particularly the elephants in the Taweechai Elephant Camp, and the deer roaming free. Get back to nature by hiking the trails through the lush forests. Remember your comfy shoes and a camera. You’ll need them!
