About North Beach – Jangwani and Mbuja Island

The North side of Dar es Salaam is decked up with beautiful beaches and various other spots to hang out. Among them is the North Beach that is a much-loved destination for the locals as well as the tourists. Here again, the fresh seafood is a hit among everyone. You can stroll on the beautiful white sand of the beach and enjoy the day relaxing and sunbathing, or satiate your hunger with the delicious authentic seafood served here. How to reach

Take a taxi through the city centre, it will drive you through the Bagamoyo Road and take you to your destination. It is at a distance of 22 Km from the city centre and can be reached within 45 minutes by Taxi.

  • Bring your self-care products.
  • Carry an ample amount of water to stay hydrated.
  • Do try the seafood at the beach, it is tasty and hygienic.
  • Dress up carefully as revealing clothes are not appreciated here.
  • Do not go for topless sunbathing at all, you might be called out by the locals.
