The Azania Front Church is a beautiful architectural marvel at the harbour front of Dar es Salaam. It is a pretty red-roofed church which is absolutely serene in its look. Still standing tall and being active in conducting prayers and choirs, the church was constructed far back in 1898 by German missionaries. You can visit it easily as it lies close to the city centre. A priest will probably guide you through the church and describe the past and evolution of the cathedral. You may be decently asked for paying some donation by the end of the tour, which is worth it. Another perk of visiting this beautiful cathedral is that there are many other attractions nearby.
You can take a 15-minute walk and cover a distance of 1.1 km through Maktaba Street.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the city centre to the Church.
