The Temple of Debod was originally built in Egypt as a present from the country to Spain to commemorate their efforts in restoring Egyptian Dams in the 1970s. The temple was initially dismantled transported to the Cuartel de la Montaña Park and rebuilt for public viewing.
An audio-/video tour is also available for tourists to understand the history, structures, and motifs of the temple. Although visitors are not allowed into the temple, at opening hours the walkway is open which showcases some hieroglyphics depicting images of the goddess Isis of Egypt. The unrealistic feel of the temple and its Egyptian design is a sight for tourists visiting the area.
