The park has walk-through aviaries, birds out on perches, lush greenery, some amazing waterfalls and rock faces that makes this a very special place to visit. You should check out the Free flight Bird Show, first ever to start in Africa with critically endangered species like the Wattled Crane, as well as owls, storks, hornbills and a Cape Vulture in free unrestricted flight - a truly beautiful sight to watch. The park has birds from North and South America, Africa, Indonesia, and Australia. You will be able to get closer to birds and during the demonstration of their behaviour in their natural ecosystem. Do not forget to feed them.
The park is situated at 490 Riverside Road, Durban North on the banks of the Umgeni River. From Durban, head north towards Umhlanga, and you’ll find the park just 10 minutes from the city center. Follow the signs off the N2 or M4 (Ruth First) Highways.
