National Museum of Art of Romania is considered to be an architectural marvel. The museum features collections from the medieval to modern art and also showcases an international collection assembled by the Royal family. Witness the beautiful sculpture of Carol 1, the first King of Romania. The museum has a modest collection, but the pieces are all beautifully displayed. The marble staircase and the exit is stunning. Even the porticoes are pieces of art themselves. Friendly and helpful staff can be seen around the premises.
The museum is located in the former Royal Palace of Bucharest in Revolution Square, it includes the National Gallery (Romanian medieval and modern art) and the European Art Gallery.
