The national museum is a government organization inclusive of an ethnographic, archaeological, anthropological and visual art collection. The museum has four complexes, each with a collection of art and artifacts relating to zoology, anthropology and botany. It has the national planetarium and museum depicting natural history, fine arts and anthropology The second floor has a skeleton of a reptile that is hanging from the ceiling of the reception hall which makes for an interesting and unnatural hanging. There are various replicas of rain forests, mangroves and the species thriving in these habitats. It also features a rainforest diorama. Gallery X features the marine realm and depicts various species of sharks and manta ray replicas providing an experience of boarding a submarine and the way abyss looks.
