The Botanical Gardens is a beautiful garden with a collection of over 5,500 plant species from around the world. The collection of flowers is often used in teaching, dissemination, and research. The plants are grown in greenhouses and each type of plant is placed as per the departments in the open. The Botanical Gardens takes special care of the endangered species of plants. As a green haven in the big city, the Botanical Gardens is also an important recreation area for Oslo's population. You can simply relax here and enjoy photography. The greenhouse is a blessing if the weather is cold. The look of the garden inside is unlike other botanical gardens. The carnivorous plants, the vines, and faux alligator give the Botanical Gardens a safari feel.
