Bhaktapur an area of devotion and sanctity is dotted with temples and places of worship. Nepal in a heartshell is rich with religious prosperity and Bhaktapur is the jewel that makes Nepal shine. Sprawling with hundreds of devotee's a UNESCO heritage site even after a devastating earthquake in 2015 still has much to offer, apart from the temples with intricate sculptures there are a number of restaraunts with traditional cuisines, the locals called 'nepa nepa mi' also have their own language segregating themselves from the other sections of the nepalise kingdoms. The next sight for tourists is the ponds around the city, majorly decorated and used during the varios festivals there, the ponds originally reservoirs for drinking and bathing now are tourists spots, where they can feed fish and enjoy the view of the snow peaks mountains. For a ride into the spiritual side of Nepal, Bhaktapur is a must see.
