A magnificent building, lush garden, and amazing local art - sculptures and paintings. The Musée des beaux-arts is hosted in the Palais de Longchamp one of the few landmarks left from the Napolean era of rule. A small structure but packed to the brim with European artwork and sculptures.
Spanning from the 16th to 19th centuries, the collections feature artwork from Spanish, Italian, French, and Holland. With the whose-who of the art world represented its no surprise why the museum is always heavily crowded. The art exhibits have a strict no-touch policy and are wonderfully presented in an organized way, but to cater to the younger crowd several interactive exhibits have been installed that keep kids and adults entertained.
