An ancient church steeped in many layers of antiquity, this peaceful and distinctive building is a hotspot for tourists and if you visit at opening hours you can spend a nice few hours exploring. A landmark marking the advent and influence of Christianity in the country. The Church now a little dilapidated over the years has a gothic feel to its construction and like all buildings built on the same concept it's stone structures, large decorated halls and steep stairs are grand and marvellous, making the trip here worthwhile.
The city of Marseille is a celebration of beauty, religion, and art, each and every location in the city is unique, showcasing the rich history of the country, The Abbaye Saint Victor built in the 1200s holds several bodies of Saints and Martyrs in its crypt and has withstood years of war losing a library and several artefacts but even then the Church has been preserved very well and a definite spot to add on one's bucket list of places to see.
